As reported earlier, the EuroCup Women Regular Season game between BDS Dinamo Sassari and KP Brno on Thursday evening was interrupted - and later abandoned - due to a power outage. The fate of the game has now been officially decided: KP Brno has been awarded a 20–0 victory, meaning our team will face Gernika in the first round of the playoffs.
In the November 27 matchup, Sassari led 69–67 with 3:21 remaining in the fourth quarter when the power outage halted the game. The home club informed FIBA Europe that the game could not be resumed within 24 hours, prompting the Single Judge to issue a ruling in accordance with the regulations. As a result, BDS Dinamo Sassari forfeited the game, while KP Brno officially closed the Regular Season with a 20–0 win.
Following this decision, seventh-placed NKA Universitas Pécs will meet 26th-seeded Lointek Gernika Bizkaia in the first round of the playoffs. As is well known, both teams competed in Group C, where our side defeated the Spanish club 62–60 at home and 66–63 on the road.
